Family walks for Little Hikers

For over 35 years the Austin family, who run the all-things-outdoors, Allan Austin, has been searching out the very best family friendly walks across the region. These tried, tested and much loved walks can now be enjoyed by Yorkshire families and their ‘little hikers’ simply by visiting the store’s Little Hiker website www.littlehiker.com where the walks can be downloaded for free.

This summer saw the launch of 'Little Hiker' - Allan Austin’s exclusive range of walking and hiking gear for children. We are really excited to be working with Little Hiker to review various items (including a Spotty Otter coat, too-gorgeous Spotty Otter toddler wellies - which Ella is modeling on the right - and some brilliant walking boots for proper off-road small people). Keep an eye out for the reviews coming soon.

Always eager to encourage his customers to explore the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, Managing Director, David Austin, decided to share his family’s years of walking wisdom in order to give his keen customers some of the best family walking experiences.
“As a family, we have discovered some truly amazing walks over the years which we have enjoyed with our own children – and our grandchildren! With so many families keen to get active and explore the outdoors, we decided to compile some of our favourite walks which other families can get to know as well as we have.”

Families with children as young three years can find a range of walks on the Little Hiker website. The walks, which cover some of Yorkshire’s most stunning walk ways from Wharfedale to Wensleydale and Calderdale to Airedale, are geared for families of all walking abilities with each walk pointing out pit stops, parking and picturesque photo opportunities.

As well as sharing these Austin family walks, the Little Hiker website also encourages families from all over the country to send in their own favourite walks which can be included on the site. Families can email their walks, which should include a step-by-step guide, length in hours and miles and other useful information, to littlehiker@allanaustin.co.uk

Ju-Ju-Be BeTween Bag Review Ready for You!

I've been slack on this one (hugest apologies to the lovely people at JellyBean, who have been very patient with me). I just had too much to say about it, that was the trouble.
But it's there now - and a VERY fine bag it is too. Certainly worth looking at if you're hunting for the most perfect baby change bag you can find. And at £57, it won't even hurt your bank manager either :)

MiaMOO Review

ooohhh, new smelly goodies plopped onto the mat this morning. And these ones are lovely. Gorgeous. Fab and just MMMmmmmmm. miamoo is the brain child of Saira Khan (The Apprentice??), and is a truly delicious range of baby skincare products. Decorated, I might add, by the best cows I have ever seen.

I have the new packaging which is even more fresh and funky than those you see in the online shop. And the scent when I opened it to have a whiff was just a breathe-deep-happy-smell, you know? Not surprising with ingredients like silk, jojoba, calendula, shea butter, sweet almond oil, lemon oil and aloe vera.

Bestest of all, miamoo are a great No-Bad-Stuff company (no parabens, SLS/ALS or petrochemicals here, thank you) which of course House of LittleStuff likes ever so much.

I'm SO looking forward to bathtime tonight!
